TCS BPS Hiring 2024 Batch Graduates Eligibility criteria Qualification
- Full-time Graduates from B. Com, BA, BAF, BBI, BBA, BBM, BMS, BSc (Except Maths, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology) – 2025 Year of Passing may apply.
- Backlogs & Extended Education: One active backlog at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process is permitted. However, it is mandatory that the course is cleared and completed within the time duration stipulated by the University without any backlogs for a candidate to be eligible to join TCS, if selected. Extended Education will not be considered as eligible.
- Gap/Break in education: It is mandatory for students to declare gaps in education, if any, in TCS Application Form. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification. Relevant document proof, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.
- Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered). Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the other courses are full-time.
- Work Experience: Please note, the role is only for ‘Trainee Intern Requirement’. However, prior work experience, if any, is required to be mandatorily declared by the candidates in the TCS Application form.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in 24 x 7 work environment in rotational night shifts depending on the project requirements.
- Age: Minimum age – 18 years and Maximum age – 28 years.

How to Apply for TCS Hiring 2025 Graduates

Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStepPortal here
Step 2. Register and Apply to the Drive
Scenario A. If you are a registered user under TCS NextStep Portal, ‘BPS’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as ‘BPS’, register and create your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number). Login with the TCS Reference ID and submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre), choose your preferred test centre, select 2 joining locations of your preference and then click on Apply. Please Note, test centre once selected cannot be changed.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’

Q. I am not able to find the ’Apply for Drive’ option. What should I do?
A. Once you fill the application form, logout, and login again.
Then click on ‘Apply for Drive’.If you are not getting the ‘Apply for Drive’ option, please check the below:
a) If you have completed/submitted your application form.
b) If you have erroneously registered as IT instead of BPS (You will need to write to ilp.support@tcs.com for the deletion of your profile under IT and once your profile has been deleted, please create a new profile under BPS.).
c) Check the qualification you have entered in the Application form.
d) Check the Year of Passing you have entered in the Application form.
Q. What will be the mode of conducting the TCS Hiring 2025 Graduates?

Q. I am getting an error while updating my 10th or 12th standard details in the application form. What should I do?
A. You need to enter minimum 9 months in your 10th and 12th standard course duration details.
Q. I had backlogs during my graduation. However, I have now cleared all my backlogs. Am I eligible to appear for the recruitment process?
A. Only one backlog is permitted for the candidates from the 2023 year of passing, however all pending backlogs should be cleared within the stipulated course duration.
Q. Am I supposed to mention CGPA or Percentage? What should I do?
A. The application form has the provision indicating both, CGPA or percentage. Kindly mention what is reflecting in your marksheets / degree certificate.
Q. Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in it
A. Limited changes can be done once the profile is in Application Received status. Hence, we request you to complete the application form carefully.
Q. Can I change my photo in the application form?
A. Yes, you can change your photograph before you ‘Submit the Application Form’. Request you to carefully follow the instructions while uploading the photograph.
Q. I have incorrectly created my profile under IT. What should I do?
A. Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. Duplicate profile should not be created. You will need to write to ilp.support@tcs.com for the deletion of your profile under IT and.once your profile has been deleted, please create a new profile under BPS.
Q. I have created 2 profiles under BPS. What should I do now?
A. Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. Duplicate profile should not be created. Please write to tcsbps.support@tcs.com for deletion of your duplicate profile.
Q. I already have my CT / DT number. I need to update my marks / CGPA in my application form. How can I do so?
A. You can update the details by clicking ‘Edit Application Form’ in TCS Nextstep portal.
Q. I am unable to download my Application Form from the TCS Nextstep portal. What should I do?
A. Please upload your photo and CV once again as per the prescribed format and then preview your Application Form. This would also allow you to download your Application Form.
Q. My NextStep account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A. Request you to directly log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com Click the ‘Unlock Account & Reset Password’ link on the Login screen. You will receive an auto-generated email for resetting the password after 30 minutes. Please do not click on the link repeatedly as every time you click on the link, the previous password expires, and a new password is generated and sent to your registered email address.
Request you to use a Desktop / Laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer / Google Chrome.
Q. Will Interviews also be conducted on the day of Aptitude Test?
A. No, interviews will not be conducted on the day of the Aptitude Test. Interview schedule will be communicated to the shortlisted students (based on the test performance) on the registered E-Mail Id
