IBM Hiring QA Automation Engineer Eligibility criteria and Qualification

Eligibility criteria and Qualification :

Eligible streams: BE/BTech – Circuit branches like Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer Engineering / Electronics and Communication / Electrical and Electronics Engineering: (EEE, EE, ECE, ETC, ENTC), and IT, CSE branches which are Computer Technology / Computer Science and Technology / Computer Science / Information Technology and various fields
All Graduates in various streams
As a member of the IBM Security QA Team, you will be working on test automation, end-to-end system testing, and regression. Members of this team tend to have expertise in testing multi-tiered web applications and QA Processes, experience in agile testing, fluency one or more languages (Java and/or Python), and a foundational knowledge of cloud technologies such as kubernetes.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional testing of our Web Application
Provide active technical leadership throughout the entire development process, including reviewing acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases and test automation code, setting up environments, and communicating with the project team on defects, issues, and QA status
Develop, implement, and debug automated test scripts
Work in an Agile/Scrum Development Environment
Prioritize testing efforts to best effectuate corporate strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders
Develop new and maintain current testcases

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong experience in testing web applications
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, etc.
Strong demonstrable knowledge of software testing strategies, particularly relating to web applications.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and with Agile tools such as Jira
Scripting proficiency: Java/Groovy or Python
Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of SAML, 2-factor authentication, LDAP, Active Directory, BPM and Workflows
Comprehensive knowledge of test automation platforms such as Selenium and Cypress
Familiarity with using such as POSTMAN to test web services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
